As AI continues to reshape smart hardware, displays are evolving from simple visual interfaces into key interaction points between users and intelligent devices.
For smart set-top boxes, home terminals, and other AI-enabled devices, display quality, touch performance, structural thickness, and overall cost all play an important role in the final user experience.
To meet these evolving requirements, TOPTE has launched a new 10.1″ In-Cell touch display module, combining wide-view IPS performance, integrated touch technology, an ultra-slim structure, and optimized cost for next-generation smart terminals.
The module is featured in China Telecom’s Tianyi Smart Screen, supporting the integration of display, touch, and intelligent interaction in a compact terminal solution.

Ⅰ.Enhanced Color. Wide Viewing Angle. Smoother Interaction.
The 10.1″ touch display features an 800 × 1280 IPS panel with wide viewing angles, maintaining consistent image quality and color performance from different viewing directions.
With a 20% higher color gamut and a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1 (800:1 min.), the display delivers richer colors and clear contrast for multimedia and interactive applications.
For touch interaction, the module integrates In-Cell touch technology with an AF anti-fingerprint cover lens. The cover lens provides ≥85% transmittance, while the printed ink achieves 4B adhesion.
The result is smooth and responsive touch interaction, supporting frequent tapping and swiping for applications such as video calls, device control, and AI-powered commands.
Ⅱ. Ultra-Slim Structure for More Flexible Terminal Design
The internal structure of a display module directly affects the design possibilities of the finished device.
TOPTE’s 10.1″ In-Cell touch display adopts an integrated metal-and-plastic structure combined with full lamination, keeping the overall laminated thickness at ≤4 mm.
The ultra-slim structure helps free up valuable internal space and supports compact terminal designs, including wall-mounted and freestanding configurations. It also contributes to a cleaner, more modern product appearance.
The backlight operating current is controlled at 80 mA, providing a balanced approach to power consumption and display performance and giving system designers greater flexibility in overall product development.
Ⅲ. Optimized Cost, Easier Product Development
For smart terminal manufacturers, performance is only one part of the equation. Cost efficiency and development time are equally important.
TOPTE optimizes the module across structural integration, component selection, and mass-production processes, helping customers achieve an overall solution cost reduction of up to 10% while maintaining display, touch, and structural reliability.
The module also uses a mainstream MIPI interface, supporting compatibility with a wide range of commonly used processor platforms. This can simplify system integration, reduce secondary development requirements, and help shorten the product development cycle.
Ⅳ. From Smart Set-Top Boxes to More AI-Enabled Terminals
The 10.1″ In-Cell touch display is designed for next-generation internet set-top boxes and smart home terminals, while its combination of display performance, touch integration, and compact structure makes it suitable for a wider range of applications.
Potential applications include:
- Intercom & access control
- Medical terminals
- POS terminals
- Tablets
As intelligent hardware continues to expand across different industries, integrated touch displays are becoming an increasingly important part of the human-machine interface.
Ⅴ. Integrated Display Expertise from Design to Mass Production
Behind every clear and responsive display is a combination of optical, electronic, structural, and manufacturing expertise.
With extensive experience in display module development and manufacturing, TOPTE provides integrated support from backlight design and driver adaptation to touch-display assembly and mass production.
Combined with established reliability testing capabilities, TOPTE supports stable display performance across a wide range of AI-enabled devices and smart terminals.
The launch of the new 10.1″ In-Cell touch display module represents another step toward more integrated, thinner, and cost-efficient display solutions for intelligent terminals.
Enhanced color. Wide viewing angles. Ultra-slim structure. Optimized cost.
TOPTE will continue to develop display and touch integration technologies to help customers bring smarter, more interactive products to market.
